Very pleased with this! Some thoughts:

  • It's the largest and heaviest saber I have so far.  
  • Has a heft and weight to it that makes it feel very robust.
  • Machining very nice! Fit and finish crisp and wonderful. Color looks great.
  • Choke point just below the bottom thin neck has great weight and feel for spinning.
  • Fits wonderful in the hand, one-handed or two.
  • I went with a standard light with Flash on Clash. It's plenty bright and looks good, HOWEVER....
  • Due to the emitter design, the reflective film on the inside of the tube is cut away at the bottom. So the emitter glow from the windows isn't as pronounced. BUT...
  • That makes the Flash on Clash look even cooler and more distinct; at least with my color combo (Guardian Blue with Violet FoC)
  • Comes apart into many pieces. Shouldn't be an issue, but I can see myself using some loctite to keep it snug.
  • I don't regret getting the D-ring, but for whatever reason, I didn't realize how dangly and rattly it would be. Probably should have gone covertec, but oh well.
  • I love this thing. It's beautiful and absolutely amazing.

It does! And it looks amazing with the Violet FoC. Because of the lack of reflective film at the bottom, the bright red LEDs shine through more at the base. Looks amazing. I'll try to get a video up later tonight.

Very nice arsenal you're building for yourself.   I love the Sun Rider's Destiny color on the Apprentice.  And of course, that Empress is top notch.

To be honest, it's a trade off. Because it's the standard LED setup, and not the TriCree. The standard LEDs look great, but are not nearly as bright. They look great in dim light or at night, but definitely lack the punch and wow factor of the Tri's. I decided to make that trade off, mostly because I love the idea of the color changing clash, but could definitely see wanting a bigger brighter vibrant glow.

The more I see of the Princess, the more I think there may be one in my future.   I am thinking a Princess LE to to with my Fallen LE...    Maybe with a green blade....  Hmmm.....

Those are some incredible pictures you shared, shows the Princess off in all of it's glory.  Great job there.  Also really appreciate your honest and concise thoughts on the hilt too, thx and point incoming.
