If windows aren't your thing, than I'd say the Dominix is the better choice.
IMO, the Sentinel begs to have the windows, but the Dominix could go without.

Without windows, the Dominix wins hands-down   That forward choke point is PERFECT for handling, spinning, whatever, and it edges the Sentinel on aesthetics.  Definitely go for the Dominix V4.   :-)

im also curious to know if the dominix le v4 can be used effectively in reverse grip i want to see someone do reverse grip spins and maneuver with the dominix because ive seen plenty of videos with the dark sentinel v4 but ive never seen the dominix v4 so i would like to see that and i would even like to see someone dual wield twin dominix v4 sabers and i want to see someone using the overhead strikes similar to the moves used by anakin in the prequels

Have you taken a look around in the Spinzone?
http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=23126.1485

Samhain uses a dominix alot.
And I believe everal people in last years Spinwars showcase a reverse grip.

Almost forgot, I have 2 dominixes, so here's me playing with a dominix v4 and an initiate v2.

And not to sound arrogant or something like that, but scroll over my youtube-account, there are several vids there where the dominixes are being used. Maybe you'll find what you're looking for.

hahaha, np one of the last posts in the Spinzone is his:

I uh still exist.  I've just been really busy.  My sabers up and running again, I had to get a replacement speaker.  The weather doesn't suck, so maybe I'll try and shoot some stuff.

Well I have made a decision and that would be the Dark Sentinel LE V4 simply because I have come to prefer it's aesthetics since it looks more heavy duty than the Dominix which looks sleeker and although most people prefer sleeker aesthetics over heavy duty aesthetics I like the looks of heavy duty better (just to clarify I'm sure both hilts have the same durability but when I say I prefer heavy duty I'm mostly talking about the looks rather than the actual durability and personally I like a device that looks heavy duty more than a device that looks sleek) I do like the design of sleek lightsaber hilts but I lean a bit more towards the looks of heavy duty a bit more

Like yourself, I prefer the Dark Sentinel v4 over the Dominix; it's a fantastic saber with a sleek yet ergonomic design.  Add in emitter windows and an illuminated AV switch, a custom pommel, and you've got a beautiful piece of art  Smiley

To wit, seen here with my modded Archon v3.1:

Just to clarify I don't like windows and I chose the sentinel because it looks more heavy duty the dominix is sleeker whilst the sentinel is more heavy duty but I'm choosing the sentinel because I prefer heavy duty over sleekness
