Hi there  Grin
i've got some trouble getting a nice and long lasting old look on my handles. I used to paint them and just some extra touches with sand paper but that just looks good for a short time. So i thought about a multi sander (something like this stuff here: https://www.werkzeugpilot.de/multischleifer-test/) or something like that so get a better result and "deeper cuts" and stuff. Has anyone tried that bevor? Just saw some video with it on ohter stuff like armor parts and thought i give it a try.

Don't think I've seen anyone on the forums try it, but it would definitely weather the hilt. Only issue I can see off the bat is the somewhat lack of control. Sanders and angle grinders like that aren't exactly designed for super detailed work so you'd have to be really careful. Compare the level of control that you'd have with, say, a handheld Dremel tool vs. what you see in the video. It's night and day.

“You think you know the depths of corruption that plague the Jedi?” Saso hissed. “I’ve seen it, I’ve experienced it, I even embody it. Every breath I take is an affront to their lofty ideals and idle Force worship… and so they seek to exterminate me.” He looked deep into Barriss Offee’s eyes, “they were not successful in purging me from the galaxy, and neither will you be.”
