Toying with the idea of getting into the whole modding, weathering, possibly adding greeblies deal to some sabers. Thoughts? For those who have gone this route what did you decide on first? What do you regret?

No wrong or right answer here, just looking for some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

easy and simple first mod would be addin g things like o-rings , weatherin, and some light painting.

I regret nothing…except my starting this sabering stuff so late in life!

O-rings are probably the easiest place to start, but really depends on which saber you have and what kind of grooves it has. They're totally removable so if you decide you don't like it, off it goes. Very few mods are like that  Wink

Weathering through painting like dry brushing is also super popular and doesn't require any particular skills prior. We have quite a few examples and even a few picture tutorials on it here on the forums.

Galef with the half-court shot to win the game. Excellent video and right on target.

any successes I've had with modding sabers is because of the shared wealth of knowledge and support in this forum! Use them well.
