So, if i was so inclined, how hard is it to swap an LED out in the Apprentice V4?
is it as simple as snipping the the led off and soldering a new one one to wires or is it more complicated than that?
This depends somewhat on what color you have. Some of the mixed colors (like Arctic blue, for instance) have resistors on the power leads to one or another of the color diodes. Some have more power leads that others as well.
So you would need to evaluate what feeds you have to decide where to cut the leads and where / what to solder together.
But for a standard color, it can be just that easy.
