As shown in the title, I REALY want a proestic arm (just for cosplay and NOT a real proestic arm) because Anakin and LUke have one. I think it "would make a fine addition to my collection". And also thats how I envisioned my custom character. If you guys have any tips you can reply to this message or send me a personal message.

…pretty sure you could create some thing fun out of eva foam. Check out Kamui Cosplay or Evil Ted on youtube for some places to start. There are others on youtube that have some interesting cybernetic arm projects that might look nice and bad@$$

in steampunk, where that kind of prop is also popular), it tends to be a glove and gauntlet design since the original material is in the way.

One way I'd do a hand would be to get a well fitting black glove. Mount plates and armatures to that.  The audience sees all that forgets the hand underneath.

The gauntlet acts as anchor/collar to the mechanical hand, allowing for a transition from robot to human.

I guess we ALL fell down the same rabbit hole. Btw If you need any advice on life or any prop ideas, I'm your man. I currently work at my dad's boat eletronic shop in Okeechobee, FL, my hometown for all my life. And I gotta say, IK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH STUFF. I literally take apart whole radio units and have a whole box of circuits next to me. I'm thinking about having a light-up console on one of my arms for my cosplay armor. So, in all, shoot me a message if you need and armor or ideas.

the key part you may want is how they made the robotic hand, not the repulsor thing.

This vid is using cardboard/stiff paper, but imagine that's a prototype and doing the real thing with a durable material

these are long, evil mechanical fingers. 

Probably better used on an off-hand, but definitely has that general grievous vibe.

I considered these with my right hand leather hand guard, but that'll jack up doing anything with my dominant hand like holding a saber or gun or food.
