Like a lot of people, I LOVE my US Graflex - but don’t really love gripping it for any length of time.

Not a fault of UltraSabers - the iconic design just doesn’t lend itself to comfy ergonomics.

So I decided to do a simple rebuild of mine to streamline it.  It now has a perfectly comfortable & unimpeded 2-handed grip that feels slightly similar to a katana.

Essentials:
- Graflex CE
- Removed plastic grips
- Removed the collar
- Replaced standard switch box with the Fulcrum switch box
- Replaced the original Tri-Silver LED chip w/ a much cooler on the spectrum White
- White Leather wrap
- Manticore CE nickel-plated High pommel

Best part is, it can very easily be changed back if I decide I want the classic look again.

Going from the plastic fins to a leather wrap was like absolute magic in terms of comfort; take a look!

 I know that after all the efforts to take and upload pictures this is a weak response... but I'm pretty much speechless... nice.

A design that given eternity I would never come up with.

Thanks!  I sincerely appreciate the feedback.

Also, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the UltraSabers Customer Service team.  I sadly didn’t get the name of the specific person that helped me - but they got me set up to purchase the nickel-plated Manticore pommel which isn’t normally for direct sale by itself on the store.

That pommel was crucial - like The Dude’s rug, that’s what ties the whole thing together  Wink

Forgot to mention - part of the reason I said it was “easy to put back” to the original configuration, I put connectors on everything when I did it.  So it’s basically plug n play now.  Does make things a bit more cramped in the hilt, but worth doing carefully as it adds to the MHS nature of UltraSabers.
