Hey guys this is my first day on here and I LOVE it! I am going to purchase my first two lightsabers as soon as these questions are answered.

1) For the Prophesy Battle Staff we can choose hilt finishes. I was wondering which of these three finishes: Aluminum, Dark Prophesy, and Collector’s Edition Prophesy most resemble a “steel” color?
   
2) Is there a way to vertically mount the Prophesy Battle Staff to my wall? For me it does not matter what I put into the wall or the price to get it up there. What would you suggest? Is it even possible? If so, should it even be attempted?

3) How easy is it to detach the blade from the hilt?

I dont know anything about the Prophecy (aside from its inherent awesomeness) much less its battle staff incarnation, but as for mounting -- why not just find a local wood worker or a high school shop student to make you a wall mount for it? Measure the handle, and have round, descending notches cut into two arms of wood connected by a well polished and stained wooden placard. Attach the placard to the wall and have the arms hold the saber. Unless your house is one built for giants though I reccomend horizontal mounting.

Well, the CE Prophecy somewhat resembles chrome, the Aluminum is just that (light and silvery), and the Dark Prophecy is Black as the Emperor's Bones, as they say. The mounting question, I cannot answer, and the blade removal I can say is VERY easy. Insert hex wrench to retention bolt head, spin counter-clockwise, pull out blade. Easy as pie! Hope that helps!

I have a standard finish prophecy. In my opinion it looks the most like steel. For a wall mount you could just tack a few nails into the wall. Also the prophecy RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check out your local hardware store or craft store and pick up a simple twelve inch shelf that can easily be put up on your wall with two screws. and if you go into the accessories section on the U.S. site you can get a awesome looking star wars stand pretty inexspensive. total should cost around $20 or so(for shelf and stand).

1. Steel is generally thought of to be silver, so either the CE or Aluminum finish would be what you'd want.

3. Detaching the blade is literally as easy as loosening a screw.

I'm gonna buy like 5 of those wall mounts one day. If you want to display your saber, that's the coolest way.

Are "all" lightsabers able to detach the blades? I'm looking into purchasing an Aeon and it would just be frosting on the cake to find that out.

All Ultra Sabers have removable blades, yes.
