Ray Park says two sided or single can be good depending on who you’re fighting and the situation surroundings. He likes Empire Strikes Back, Rocky movies, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. He learned wushu so he could meet Jackie Chan when he learned Chan only works with people who know wushu. That led to Park working in movies.
I didn’t know he was also Snake Eyes in gi joe movies.

Hi Kenobese, I wish I could attend "proper" conventions like this one. In the UK I've only managed to attend small local cons held in small theatres etc, though I have met the Admiral Ackbar and Bossk actors in real life. Interesting factoid: Ray Park was also one of the Naboo Palace troopers that raided the Throne Room with Padme and Captain Panaka. There were four troopers that ran across the hallway to the big glass windows that were blown out for them to rope climb up to the throne room. The funny thing is that Ray was told NOT to look directly at the camera as he crossed the hallway but he has a cheeky glance almost straight down the lens! |

That's an awesome story^^ I've like Ray Park ever since Episode I, following his subsequent roles as Toad in X-Men, Snake-Eyes in G.I.Joe, and even on the TV show "Heroes." One of these days--hopefully--I'd like to meet him  |
