Has anyone dueled/sparred with the shock yet .  I was wondering how durable it is. Only asking because of the MHS components, do they loosen with use or stay snug ? is it worth getting as a main combat saber ? or should I opt for a solid piece saber?

I guess you would be referring to the V3 line when you say "solid piece saber."

I don't own the shock, but I've used quite a few of their MHS compatible hilts and they stay together fine.  The Shock isn't really in too many pieces - it consists of the emitter, body and pommel.

IMO, Ultrasabers wouldn't offer it if it weren't a solid saber built for dueling Wink

My main saber is My SY Shock.

It's built like a rock, I never have have any problems with the pieces coming loose.

Same goes for my wife's Dark Shock.

It's a fine choice of saber, plus the added bonus of it being MHS compatible.

Ok. 1 more question b4 I place my order.. Can or Can not  MLS units be used in the Dark shock, I've looked through the forums and can not find a definite answer. The one thread I did find was a yes AND no...and was from about May from last year. I REALLY like the  Dark Shock, but I want to know if I can swap LEDs or not.

Yes you can, just make sure you choose the "Quick Disconnect" option and you'll be set. Also probably an MLS for yourself while your at it.

You would need to purchase the "Quick Disconnect" option to swap LEDs.  I checked for you, and the Shock LE and Dark Shock have this option, so yes you can swap LEDs if you get Quick Disconnect and order the appropriate LED.  Only the regular Shock does not appear to have this option.

If you're good at wiring and such, I imagine there are a number of things you can do, but the above is the answer I think you're looking for in terms of easy swapping.
