On several of my sabers I have used O-rings to add interesting visual appeal.  Over tme these have tended to dry rot and break. Is there a better alternative ?

Sadly, I've had this happen to me as well.  In fact, just last week I was showing off some of my sabers and my modded shoto also has O-rings...of which approximately half promptly fell off  Angry

Worse still, I don't know of any alternative.  Sorry Mrg.

hmm...wonder if they have silicone O-rings ?

I've thought of painting the grooves but I haven't tried it yet. I did however buy the paint pen to do so, I just haven't gotten to it yet.
