Is it possible to update?

Saberforum's old built-in media players are completely broken and cannot embed video play screens anymore.

Because the forum software runs on an outdated platform, it relies on two systems that no longer work: Flash Player is dead: The [flash] tags don't work because modern web browsers permanently blocked Flash years ago for security reasons.

The http:// trick is dead: YouTube now strictly requires https:// (secure) connections.

Saberforum's automatic video converter cannot process secure https:// links, which is why it just displays a flat text string instead of a video player block.

I don't know what could be done, nor do I have contact with anyone who could make the necessary changes... Honestly, this place is sorely in need of maintenance in many aspects.

Good to know. Looks like spending a few parsecs away from here was a prudent move...sadly.
