How does the HUE of SY compare to these? Particularly the Burnt Yellow.
It looks eerily similar, It's hard to tell though it looks like the burnt has a more "Gold" tint to it while I sit here and look at my SY. @Jedi Hound - If it's not to much trouble could you take a picture of the burnt yellow with the flash on please? Unless of course you have SY and the Burnt AS next to each other with the flash on. That would be the easiest way to compare them. P.S. can't wait to see that review, I had a huge one like that. |

Hyper-- Deep Straw you say? hmmm... srams-- Don't have the SY, planned on it but wanted to try the filters first. In all fairness, the AS kicks serious but as-is... Kham-- I took a few with flash the other day but they all look totally washed out, I'll post them now and try a re-shoot tonight/tomorrow. Burnt:  Oklahoma:  Burnt/Oklahoma:  Also, here is a (grainy) video of the Oklahoma Yellow igniting. It was taken for pommel 'loudness' comparison (coming soon I swear).

Off topic, here's Sunrider's Destiny (Ultraedge) with a fresh charge in a totally dark closet. I DID NOT intend to share this with others (I wouldn't be sporting a sleeveless tie-dye and my face would be partially covered) BUT the blade looks SOOOOO friggin' awesome. Pic is UN-ALTERED.  |

This is making me want to get Lee filters more and more. They really are bright. How do they look in person though? I would totally do a pink colored saber. Something different.

Going by all the pictures It looks like Burnt, is a deeper gold than SY. Almost like if they made SY a single color then had variants, Burnt would have more red and Oklahoma would have more green. It could always change though if new pictures look better. I like this topic. |
