Love the raven, even in Jedi colors it has a major intimidation factor.

nice review, i am looking at getting this US as i am an approved Sith Stalker in the 501st and i NEED this saber for my duelling
is it really heavy or still relativley light to use and spin while duelling?

looks pretty sweet Smiley

Haven't really tried any spinning yet. seems like it may be a bit unwieldy for it. Then again, i'm not too skilled at spinning sabers, and am trying to find tutorials for it  Tongue

I haven't spun my Raven yet, I'll make a vid to show how it goes.

While it's heavier than most sabers, It spins well IMO.

Would I spin it all the time? No, but spinning that beast around is intimidating.

Tips for a beginner? I'm working on an outfit for some cons (the mask in my avatar and the saber are the only things complete so far) and I want to be able to put on a good show  Cheesy

Was just watching some vids, and I think I may have already picked my second saber...that dark manticore looks sweet, hopefully there is going to be news o a release soon

Well Deep (Emory) said there would be an announcement a while back, so hopefully they will release them soon.

Tips? Don't be afraid to choke up if you need to.

The Raven isn't built for spins so it'll take some getting used to.

My Raven is my primary (and really only) saber, and once you get used to it, spinning is no problem at all.  I have found that spinning with a reverse grip is really quite easy and natural (seen in the link below)

Interesting, those videos on that page are quite helpful. Might need to buy the DVD for the better quality XD
