I've had this saber for a while and wanted to do this review earlier, but I've been very busy recently and didn't have a chance, so here is my review of the Ultrasabers Aeon
Initial Impressions
When I opened the box I was amazed at the quality of the saber, it didn't have any kind of scratches what so ever. The Aeon handles like a dream, the added grip from the groves makes it very hard to drop. I looked through to make sure I had gotten everything I requested and it was all there.
Blade Brightness
When I turned on the black I was not disappointed in the slightest. The Sun Rider's destiny blade color was luminous and easily brighter then the Force FX by a huge margin, and it wasn't even an Ultra Edge blade.
I thought I'd try it in my living room with all the lights off and I was amazed when I turned it on. Even with all the lights off and during nighttime the Aeon practically lit the entire room up like a Christmas tree.
Durability
The saber is amazingly durable. I was able to hit the blade and the handle against quiet a few things that almost broke my FX saber and it didn't even show any sign of scratching or damage. When dueling the saber also stands up to it's legacy as being one of the most wanted duel sabers. The blade didn't show any sign of damage even after some intense dueling. The handle also didn't get damaged or have the battery pack break when I accidentally dropped it, something that broke my old Dominix.
Closing Statements
All in all the Aeon is a phenomenal saber. It has great handling, durability and tons of room for customization if you want. I would strongly recommend this saber to anyone looking for a good and solid saber. The only thing that could possibly make this thing better is if it had an option for sound. In the end, the Aeon is a saber I'm definitely going to keep for a long time.
