I'm originally from South Jersey, but currently live in North Jersey (Hackettstown if you know where that is). It's truly unfortunate how spread out we all are  I know I'd love to meet up with the California crew (Manroon, Kham, Lucien) as well as the rest of you! |

Nothing's final yet, but the price is right, and we would probably just rent it out... That being said I would have to make a trip out to New York at some point to check the place out. |

Stuck in Tex'ass at the moment, but if I have my way once our last youngling finishes High School next year and is on his way to the Air Force will go back to Florida... Though to be honest it will be for selfish reasons and not to provide someone a saber dueling partner  What part of Florida are you in? You mentioned Gainesville, Uof Florida has a an excellent fencing club and I am sure there are a handful of light sabery type among them...the is an age limit because it is a 100% no children gym, focusing on adults and adult skills...I believe 19yrs old is the minimum...but there are other gyms nearby. http://www.floridafencingacademy.com/FloridaFencingAcademy.com/Welcome.htmlhttp://www.sfcollege.edu/athletics/index.php?section=clubs/fencing http://recsports.ufl.edu/sport-clubs/sport-club-directory/fencingBoth of the schools are focused on adult training, which I am a huge fan of...as most fencing clubs are overrun with younglings dropped off for babysitting  But between these gyms I am sure you will find a handful of saberist, especially if you bring yours to one of their practices. good to hear lucien thanks jedi reb im in eureka which is by salt springs and orange springs and gainesville is just over an hour from my house they had a fair every year and that was what i was talking about btw i dont have a rapier ive got katana,hand and half two sabers and 2 usabers the dsi and redemption ill be sure to check them out some time soon

Love that part of Florida.
id have to say that is Michigan. If I remember correctly you will never be more than 6 miles from a body of water. I think it was less then that but puddles don't count either. I mean actual lakes. I also hear Minnesota has a lot of lakes I think. |
