A confused saber...

Ok so I built this saber to be as close to what Iv always thought my lightsaber would look like. I also have always thought I would be much like Joli Bindo from KOTOR, I would be affiliated with the light side yet not pay much attention to either side and I would more follow my own ways and what the situation called for. So I know it looks very dark but keep in mind its not, Heres my first saber.

Obisidian w/ Blue Illuminated Switch
Violet Amethyst
32" Heavy Grade Blade
Li-Ion Setup with BuckPuck

I love AV switches, they bring so much life to the hilt, and you can never go wrong with a VA blade.

Only thing I wish it had different was a recharge port bezel built into the switch so I didn't have to pull batteries, and random pulsing blade and/or switch.

Sweet. The guardian pommel gives it a nice, unique flavor. Would've looked a little better with DVA, but that's just my opinion

Dark Violet Amethyst.  It's a special forum color that basically has more blue in it than the regular Violet Amethyst, giving it an indigo color.

When you place your order, select one of the more expensive colors (like Sunrider's Destiny) and in the order comments, state that you would like the LED tuned to the forum color of your choice.  In this case Dark Violet Amethyst.  You can also request Sentinel Yellow, Pyrestone Orange, Bane's Heart.  I might have missed one so check around and see what other forum colors are available.

Yup, since it's a variant of Violet Amethyst I would select that color, and specify Dark Violet in all caps in the order comments.  That way they can't miss it.

Everyone has a favorite color and then they discover one that is better.  I love Guardian Blue but now Sunrider's Destiny has begun to grow on me because it turns heads faster as it is not your usual color associated with Star Wars from non-hardcore fans.  Violet Amethyst is a great color and I am pretty sure that your next saber purchase (as we are all addicts of sabers on here) will have DVA.

If I buy another it will be to make a staff but my gf would probably kill me if I spent another $300 on another saber.

My wife would do the same but she is slowly beginning to like the ones that I have.  I find her from time to time playing with my Archon V1 and Overlord when she thinks no one is watching.  I am pretty sure she will let me have another one before the end of the year.  Just give the ladies a little time and before long they will dominate this forum as the premier users of lightsabers.  It happened in wrestling, basketball, and martial arts.  I even see some beginning to get into Mixed Martial Arts. 

Patience.  Before long you will wield lightsabers together and rule the neighborhood!!!
