Could Somebody post some pictures of the dark Initiate LE v2's and v3's with VA and BR blades? My Girlfriend wants an UltraSaber but can't decide between initiate V2 or V3 and VA and BR. HELP! It's gonna be her 17th birthday present  Grin

There is no love like Nerd love. Grin

I think she should get the V3 personally, You get rechargeable batteries, it's a simple but unique design that can be customized in a myriad of ways.

But,

It is a different feel that the V2, so if she is comfortable with how the Dominix feels I think that it would be a great fit.

keep in mind the lights are off with BR and on with VA,

The Initiate in the above topic is customized, and perhaps those are not the most flattering pics of BR, but nonetheless, there it is - a Dark Initiate V3 in BR.

As you can see I did customize my Dark Initiate V3 but you should still be able to get a good feel for it from these pics.

That is pretty awesome, Andy.  I've been considering buying that pommel from TCSS for a while now.

My camera wasn't being hugely cooperative this morning, or perhaps I'm just too tired to work it but I've taken a few pictures that might help your decision.



Size compared to a pair of small gloves.  The larger ones are the V3's.



The V3's are also a bit thicker, but have nice choke points that thin it down a bit.



These didn't come out great, but from left to right - DVA with a red filter disc turning it into a sort of hot pink.  Kham can confirm whether or not that's close to the forum color "Bane's Heart" - DVA, my personal favorite.  I have some better pictures of the color floating around the forums. - Blazing Red - Violet Amethyst.

My personal suggestion is for the best dual wielding, with no sound go with the V2's. 

For single wielding without sound, go with the V3.

For sound, you have to go with the V3. 

For looks, V3.
