So what is your favorite lightsaber from the movies? which one just said, "hey kid, look at how awesome I am!"
I think for me it was the graflex that Luke used. I thought it was so cool when i saw ESB that he could cut through stuff like the underside of the AT-AT. My imagination went wild with that.

I've always liked the Graflex. It's the first saber ever seen in the movies and soooo many other sabers' designs were obviously inspired by it.
Since that's fairly predictable, I'll go ahead and share my second favorite as well, which is Yoda's. Yes, the wee green-bladed shoto. Using that would be like using Miyamoto Musashi's favorite sword or something along those lines, plus the design is tidy yet original and clean.

Luke's lightsaber in ROTJ, hands down. The question is, which type... V2 or Hero? Lately I've leaned towards V2.
Btw I can add a poll if anybody wants.

From the movies my most favorite is Luke's ANH saber. Its the lightsaber after all. My second favorite is Qui-gon's I've always been a fan of that one. Now if we're saying of the whole series including EU stuff it would be a toss up between Corran Horn's saber and the one Kyle Katarn built. While its not officially canon I've always pictured Horns saber like this.

Anakin's ROTJ lightsaber is the sexiest lightsaber ever made, in my opinion. I also like his original lightsaber but not as much as the ROTJ saber. I also am a huge fan of Dooku's curved saber for obvious reasons I also like Kit Fisto's because the emitter has a nice look to it. All in all, I'd have to say its a toss-up between Anakin's ROTJ lightsaber, Count Dooku's curved lightsaber, and Obi-Wan's ROTJ saber.

When I first saw ROTJ in 1984, the Green Blade that Luke sported became my favorite. After the Ep. 1, Qui Gon's really caught my eye and tied as my favorite. As I have aged and got to see movie props up close, I honestly have to say that Ben Kenobi's Ep4 lightsaber is my all time favorite.

Him turning on a lightsaber and it being green in Rotj was just such an iconic movie moment. Something that seared itself into our brains and made us think...."omg that's awesome" because we all expected another blue one.

That and the fact that it was the first saber I ever had...even though it was a plastic telescoping cheap one lol

that would have been really great, though I can see why it isn't entirely necessary. I like that it shows him finishing his saber, in a cave no less (like he just found the right crystal or something), and testing it.
