I recently ordered a DSI V3Staff. This is my first saber purchase in a while, And Im impressed with the craftmanship! Here are my specs:
DSI V3
Color 1: Arctic blue
Color 2: Violet amethyst.
I opted for vertical grooves cause they're sleek and really make the saber stand out in beauty.
No sound.
32" mid grade blades.

The saber is very well built, the grooves are smooth and don't cut my hand while dueling. The grooves really add grip to the hilts making it easy to spin  in either staff or single forms. The brightness of the blades is amazing even in daylight, something I really applaud Ultrasabers for. The color is full throughout the entire length of the blades. I really love the screw on pommels, it used to be we had to use a wrench to change the batteries or make a staff, and the threading keeps the pommels secure. The black coating is well anodized, I haven't seen any chips or scratches. Its really smooth too, I like to change the position of my hands while dueling and this makes it really easy to do so.

Overall I love the saber and recommend it to anyone and everyone! I'll post pics and a video later on! Lightside points please! Smiley Any comments and questions are welcomed and appreciated!-KashiAtaru,

Will give more if you can answer ONE question: When wielding one of the sabers, would it be more suited towards a double handed grip or can it be effectively held/swung with one hand?

I'll jump in and answer but give him the point. Grin

At 12.25" long, it's long enough for a solid two handed grip but still light enough for a single handed style; the hilt is not very heavy, especially when compared to some of the other sabers.

He is right. I prefer one handed. If you get the standard 32" blades like I did, they are very light weight and perfectly balanced for single handed use. They also work well with two handed use. So with single handed use they are great for dual weilding. I still haven't gotten to a computer, so I can't post pics yet. I will though! And thanks for the points!

I have the DSI as well with vertical grooves and with light sound both of mine are VA with 36" UltraEdge Heavy Blades I have a quick release coupler to go into a staff or duel wield. i love them

Congrats on your sabers. I also have a DSI with vertical grooves in BR. Its a great saber and very under-rated IMO.
