Looks nice Rapine. My only question is where the heck does someone find a metal coat hanger anymore. Oh, and nice tie fighter.

I have a bunch of them, and they can probably bought off of amazon.

Holy crap what a cool idea!   Very cool LR, it actually looks awesome!   I love minimalist stands- the less meat to the stand the better so saber seems to float.  I'm gonna have to try this, right on man .  Great work.  

It turned out pretty good IMO too actually - better than expected (actually expected to scrap it...lol)

I was bored last night, so made a stand out of a coat hanger:



It's kind of trailer park/ghetto, but inexpensive and minimalist.

Whatever...

That is really cool LR. Simple, effective & takes nothing away from the saber. Love it (I knew there was a reason why I can never throw a metal coat-hanger away)

It's very pretty. I like the symbol on it, really completes the look.

I'm really liking the idea of a display stand made from wood. At first I wasn't, preferring the simplicity of the acrylic plastic stands, but these are nice designs and compliment the sabers quite nicely. 👌

While I enjoy the woodwork, the wood burnt jedi symbol is what really caught my eye.  Your friend is talented

Ok, so I finally got around to making the blue inserts for my saber stand. Here are the pics.

Wow, Mavrick! That's amazing! Can you do me a big old favor? I want to see what it would look like with a mirror in there behind the sabers. If you can get a ten dollar walmart plastic mirror and maybe cut it to size or something and just fit it in, at least behind the hilts, I think this would be amazing!

I hadn't thought of that but I think you are right, it would look cool.     I will see what I can do about taking a pic of it that way. I just need a little time and to remember to do so, lol. 
You can't see it in these pics but I have drilled 3 holes in the top and the center plate at the bottom to hold extra blades or sabers. My day blade is in the middle one. I used velcro to go around the blades to hold my sabers in place so my sabers don't go anywhere.

itd show the back of the sabers and reflect the light from the blades as well, that could be really neat! cant wait to see pics if you can do it.

Here is a pic of the stand that I made for my son that clearly shows the how the center is with a blade in it. Hope this will tied you  over until I can try the mirror.

You can just barely see the bottom of the Reaper hanging on the end of the stand. This one shows the end much better.
