I’ll start this quick review by saying the Dark Liberator is an incredibly elegant saber. My daughter chose this saber and she did a great job.
It’s a graceful and beautiful saber, and the arctic blue is a great color to match with it. As with all ultra sabers is incredibly bright. Quite a lot brighter than my Darth Vader force FX saber.
The sabers hilt doesn’t have as many rings in it as the Liberator or Aeon, and it is slightly concave near the middle of it. You’re hands will always know where they are on this saber. It’s about 11 inches long and runs on 4 AAA batteries.
I find that this saber isn’t as easy to wield one handed as the Aeon or Liberator, and when spinning it my hand tends to slide up towards the beautiful emitter. This isn’t much of a problem until my hand actually comes in contact with the emitter as the groves in it, as well as the set-screw, are a bit rough on the hands. As long as I am aware of where my hand is and know that if I get close to the emitter I need to re-adjust my grip I am ok. This is really only negative thing I have to say about this saber, and it’s not really that big of a deal.
This saber is easily one of, if not the best looking saber in my house. Right up there with my Prophecy. I really, REALLY like this saber.
