I was notified that the package, which carried my steel standard issue saber for repairs, arrived empty and with a hole in it. This has made my horrible beginning of this week even worse than before! Would Ultrasabers replace my saber with another one of equal or lesser value?

Everyone here on the forums and that have ever had any dealings with Ultrasabers knows we are very accommodating, we do repairs for free, we send replacement parts, we do everything we can so that everyone is happy with their saber.  However, in this case the envelope came empty.... yes envelope.  The steel, pointed, saber was mailed in an envelope, this envelope to be specific:



We are very very sorry this happen to your saber.  We would have loved to get this fixed up and mailed back out to you.  But it was mailed in an envelope and that envelope arrived with a hole in it and empty.  In the future, I would really really advise a more sturdy box or small tube for transportation.  The steel standard issue is the heaviest saber we've ever made.

I'll think about replacing it with another saber once I get a job and save up for another one. For now I must have patience...

Did you get any sort of insurance on it or anything?
I could only afford delivery confirmation on it, the insurance would've destroyed my bank account.  Sad

Hey Furry, I am really sorry that your saber got lost like that.  The company can't do anything official since your saber never made it to the shop, but perhaps I can do something on my own to try to help.  I have some sabers in my personal collection that haven't seen use in quite some time and I would be happy to send one to you as a small consolation for your loss.  I'll try to pick something appropriate and send it your way tomorrow.

I do have one condition, though: you'll need to promise me that if you ever ship a saber anywhere again, you will ship it in a box with proper protection.  Deal?  Wink

Just have to jump in and say, Ultra, you are the greatest. How many guys would give out a saber to help fix a situation that's not even their fault like that? We should get you a plaque or something!

I have to agree with Manroon.

Ultra, that's a really nice thing you're offering to do. I'm amazed that that kind of kindness is still around these days. It just makes me love Ultrasabers even more.

I...I don't know what to say, Ultra. *kneels and bows my head* I, FurryJedi, do solemnly promise to send any of my sabers in a box and with insurance; also to take the greatest care of any of your sabers you may decide to send to me!
