Grab Bag came in yesterday. I got a Sentinel LE V4 with a 36 inch sunriders destiny blade. I went completely random so I'm excited about the SRD. The hilt is amazing, despite the lack of windows. I'll probably be modding her up with some leather though, I think a dark brown would accent the gold anodizing well.
Good fortune! You made out VERY well on this GB!! My wife just ordered me the same hilt, SRD w/AB FoC, Obs v4. Very nice! Lucky you! I'm jazzed about opening this saber on my anniversary! Point to you for good fortune! |

Nice Grab Bag. Seems V4's might be in the run now Yeah I was thinking I was probably going to get an Aeon v3 and maybe luck out with an LE. So I was pretty surprised when I got a V4, I don't know if there's any others on this thread yet. |

Little roll of the dice today. My youngest has her 16th birthday coming up next week and I was going to get her the deal of the day but at the last minute I said to what the hey. Could be the same as I was going to buy or could be something better. Really nothing lost there except having the li-ion battery pack. Time will tell

My grab bag saber arrived today. It's a Initiate LE v2 in Guardian Blue. Kind of need to buy set screws for it though. Which is fine by me since I was looking to buy set screws for another emitter I have.

I had never heard that. I have heard that sometimes folks get more "higher tier" hilts from time to time. Not sure what the odds are yet, I do notice that "first time buyers" occasionaly get a nicer GB than usual. I think that's a subtle way for US to "sink the hook"! Not that it took much for me to bite and run with it!  |

Hi. Yes, definately an Aeon v2 LE. It's a really good saber to have in your collection. You will appreciate this narrower saber a lot as you get a chance to give it a good workout. It's true that no Initiates will be given out in a grab bag due to their lower base price. What do you mean by you need to buy set screws ? Should have come with two screws whether or not a blade was purchased. You can purchase set screws at almost any home hardware. #8 32 x 1/4. |
