Suggestion Box/Wishlist: what do we want from Ultrasabers?

I think that US should have an automatic mailing list attached to products- for example the pike extensions- where if something is outa stock, and then re-stocked people get an e-mail when it's back in stock. should be a fairly simple function for the techies at Ultra.

also, if anyone can, I could use some business cards... how do I get some of those?

A recruit program would be rather nice, I have told many of my friends about Ultrasabers since my first purchase, and they plan on buying from here now after seeing the quality. Looking back at some of the suggestions that were made when the thread was first created really shows how many things have changed. I read things, and think "they've already got this, I couldn't imagine the site without it."

I was searching the forum for SAO, trying to see whether anyone had done mods to their saber to make it look more like Kirito's saber from SAO II, trying to get ideas for a potential upcoming cosplay project when I found this thread.  I would love to see a prop replica of Kirito's blade mass produced.  That costume really appeals to me.  Here's a link to some screen captures that somebody else did of what that hilt looks like.

Well you would have to make the pommel yourself, but it seems like you could use the Dark Standard or the Dark Liberator as they're rather bland designs. You could try to use pvc to make the gray part of the hilt, but it could be hard. The Emitter is impossible as it tapers down so small.

The entire thing is a bit simple, possible to do in PVC, The emitter could be part of the gray part. All a PVC saber is- is PVC pipes lined up within other pipes to create layers.

I can see the pommel being a cap, while the body of it being 1- 1/2" with the accents being 2" and the emitter being a layered piece layered to the 2" piece. you can cut rectangular holes into the sides of the 2" piece and cut it in the middle to make the ridges. I can look into making a blueprint of the thing if you want.

My friends and I are working on a Photon Sword as well. He's gonna cosplay Kirito, I'm being Death Gun. And we are using the Dark Liberator as the base, VA blade, default soundfont, since the Photon Sword already makes very Star Wars like sounds.

I guess this is more of a want, or part of my personal wishlist anyway. Guardian in Guardian Blue, Obsidian soud, silver FOC, Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade, non illuminated av switch, blade plug/belt clip, and this new charger that's like 8 bucks or so? Seems like a good deal. Hopefully I can do it and enter the next raffle finally. =]

I would like more MHS compatible switches, as well as a smaller curved lightsaber-  the reason I didn't get the mantis is because it would be massive in my hands, which are very small. I like Darth Bane's lightsaber, too.

Do you mean MHS parts or the actual switches?

I wouldn't mind seeing more MHS parts being sold separately on the site. Reaper emitters, Omen pommels, the red and blue Scorpion/Mantis/Guardian pommels (the sliver version of them as well), Scorpion emitters, Dark Arbiter/Arbiter neck pieces and emitters, and the Graflex and Chosen One's pommels

A separate listing for each size of Malice claw off of the emitter would be great. I'm working on a custom saber that 3 small Malice claws would look great on, I just don't want to buy two of the emitters or two complete Malice sabers to get them.

I was actually about to say either Arbiter emitter or pommels. I'm wanting an Arbiter emitter for my Overlord still. Would look nice I think

Well, our requests have been answered! They just unveiled the Flamberge, the Crossguard Saber. Since the crossguard on my Dark Catalyst broke, this will make a nice replacement for my Plasma Saber.

Although by the time you're reading this, you've probably already gotten the email telling you about it, so blah blah blah, shut up and take my credits, I want this saber!
