NeoPixel's supposedly don't have the same fragility as traditional string blades. If US doesn't update I'd think that they will even more become a "buy the empty, do the install yourself" supplier. Diamond is cool and all, but I find US's sound options to not be especially competitive price wise, and lacking any real fx option's for crossguard support is a downer too. I also really think they need to consider upping their battery options, many boards nearly as powerful as the Diamond can run on 3.7v 18500/650's. Dual 14500's runtime is very low and a larger source for 7.4v- well, US doesn't need another reason to go larger  |

I don't know about NeoPixels. If one pixel dies then how expensive is it to replace? The scrolling effect is nice but I would rank this as after (1) hilts design, (2) brightness of blade, (3) sound font.

I get it, I just wish the website didn't have required reading. Like selecting certain options automatically disabled others that are non-congruent. So that if you select Tri-Cree, then it won't allow you to select FoC. I think it's because they would have to stock every possible combo of Tri-Cree and FoC LEDs. The logistics would be a nightmare. |

The standard tri leds on TCSS are B/B/W, G/G/W, R/R/W so you can have 2 color leds and a white led for flash effects. Honestly, each additional led gives less extra brightness so you don't lose much from not having that 3rd, and everything to gain from a flash. Or, in theory they could source Quad-Crees/Rebels and have use B/B/B+W if they wanted to. Though that is taxing on a pair of 14500s. In my Kylo Renegade (pic in my sig) I changed to a 3.7v highdrain 18650 from a normal 18650 just cuz of all the juice the leds suck up.
