BETTER BLADES!!! There is no reason those cheap chinese "economy" sabers should come with blades that look way better than US blades. That knobby tip thing has GOT to go!!!

I wonder if it would be possible to get the flatter curved style of saber hilts like Ahsoka had.
I know we have the lost grey and fulcrum but they are not the ones I am referring too.
Hilts that almost look like a large folding knife. I don't want exactly Ahsoka's but something in that style.
Trouble I can see with that is that US would have to make a completely new design. The round flashlight style hilt wouldn't work for the type I have in mind.
I think it would have to be a two part hilt that clips/screws together and, depending upon design, would require a battery door like the Dominicide or simply taking the hilt apart to insert batteries.
And as much as I like the idea, I think it would be slightly more difficult to make it as durable as the solid aluminum cylinders that are to primary US designs.

I don't think it'd be that hard to add a slight curve to the existing ones because you could just run it through a pipe bender and it wouldn't compromise the integrity. You could also use a slightly larger diameter pipe to still allow room for electronics after it's bent.

Hi, just looking at my collection here and it occurred to me.
Aeon Crimson LE v5
That hilt looks awesome in gold and silver... What if it was crimson and silver.
The design is nasty as is but add crimson and it would look evil.
They could definitely do a limited run of those and I think there would be a market for them.
The Dominix LE v5 would look awesome if one could do the silver bits as gold, it would be regal, but I think that would be a complicated process.

For $25 extra you can get the claws on the Dominix's pommel and emitter as gold or black, but I think it's just those that can be changed, not the silver on the hilt. And yeah, a crimson/silver Aeon could be a neat look. |
