His face met the cold durasteel floor, blood creeping out on its surface. He breaths,
with broken rib bones rubbing each other. The pain is not felt any longer, for it has
overflooded his mind and no longer processes it. Eyes rolling upwards, trying to see
what has thrown him this hard on the floor. He barely moved his hand to grab the saber
behind him, which cut both of his legs.

Igniting his lightsaber, he reached into the force. A large metal bar behind the figure
emerged, it meant to strike the victim, but it missed its target. He flung himself to it,
grabbing on with the force to throw his wretched body to the figure. But it was for nothing,
he was cut in midair. And what was a human before, now a chunk of flesh sizzling from the
heat of the saber.

"A fitting death for a jedi, pity that's all he was capable of, a waste of time."
and the figure left the body to its fate.

Around the Jedi Counsel, Tristan was presenting a policy regarding honor guards to have
jurisdiction to roam around the temple for security reasons. "But they are supplied by the
Galactic Alliance, have you forgotten that some are not screened through the force?" objected
by a Bothan. "Yes, but this is the second time a jedi knight has died on the hands of a fallen,
and we haven't had an idea who it was."

The majority over ruled the objection, and security was established. "I hope you don't regret
losing privacy within our grounds, the GA has a disturbing curiosity in the ways of the force."
Meeting eye to eye, and a mixture of authority pressing on the thought with the force,
"I do not, as long there is a threat, I won't stop until I found the fallen myself."

The moons have risen, the night is young, and so is the hunt for blood and flesh. The patrol
on section 13 was a brief walk towards the training grounds to the pavillion at the far end, it
was supposed to be empty this time of the night and it wasn't.

"Bird Eye, this is patrol number 5. We have someone on the training grounds,
this is beyond curfew hours and it's a red zone. Please advice, over."

They approach the lone figure with rifles at the ready, "Number 5, this is Bird Eye. We don't
see anyone on our scanners, over." The two guards looked at it each other with panic, it
dawned on them who this sitting figure was.

And an ignition sounded the activation of a lightsaber.

Tristan was rushing the temple to face the threat, upon reaching the training ground
he saw two bodies. Each cut in half, blood still fresh on the ground. He looks around for
the perpetrator, but couldn't find any.

"Looking for me, jedi?"
He readies the lightsaber, extending his awareness with the force. "Ah, yes! Search me
all you want! But can you really see, touch, or smell death when it approaches?" Still
searching, why does he not sense him? Hiding? Where?

"You are a coward, Tristan."

His blood flowed through out his body, with his trained instinct he jumped and sumersaulted
on top of a pillar. Where he stood now branded a deep cut from a lightsaber, he would have
been in two if he hadn't leapt. Now he saw with his own eyes who was the fallen jedi,
"Mallec, what have you done?"

The fallen jedi smirked, and simply laughed. "Is it not obvious? I killed four men, and all died
swiftly! I gave them a quick death, they are cowards! They don't want to fight me, even if I
killed them! They are weak!"

Tristan can feel the dark force within his words, no one is saving this man, not even the force.
He jumps from above the pillar, and lands on his feet ready to pounce. Mallec then charged
at Tristan, lightsabers clashed and the sound echoed around the training ground.
"I want to see you die, Tristan! You made them kill my family after knowing I swayed from the
jedi order!" "You know nothing about your family! They fought back, when we tried to save them
from you!"Grinding his teeth, Mallec swinged an arm on Tristan's cheek. It knocked him to the side,
but stood his ground and both sabers lock again.

"No! You and the other masters, wanted power! You lied to me when you said the force is
the answer, when it was the dark side that gives real power!"

Both swinged away, Tristan managed a low cut to the leg, and Mallec strode away with an
upper cut to the shoulder. Tristan held his shoulder in light pain, using the force to sedate the area.
Mallec limped at his leg, a deep cut was steaming from it. Tristan stole a glimpse on his shoulder,
and it was smoking with burnt flesh and blood. The smell remineded him of his fathers death, and
it took him courage to have that thought again.

"So, what's it going to be, huh? Tristan? Staring at your petty wound and giving up?
Running from poor Mallec trying to cut you in pieces?"

Tristan had enough, it ends now or never.

He swung his saber, swinging it in midair. Then executed a force push at Mallec,
which jumped out of the way from a crumbling pillar. Retaliating, force lightning carved
its way to Tristan, blocking it with his saber. A parry to the left, Tristan made a wide swing
to the right hand of Mallec. Twisting his body, Mallec dodged the saber in time, while
carving the floor with his saber for balance. Tristan again matched his trajectory with
Mallec, but he was ready.

And the thrust of his saber went through, and all that was left is a gaping hole in Tristans robe.
He fell, with his cheeks on the durasteel floor. Blood creeped out of his head, and felt the cold
darkness seething through his consciouness.

"Tristan, you never know what the dark side has in store for you" Mallec, now seemingly sane
stood beside the helpless Tristan. He stabed the lightsaber that Tristan was reaching forth, and
it was of no use now. "I know you killed my family, for the threat of the dark side rising again
among the ranks of the jedi counsel."

Tristan can no longer hear what Mallec was saying, let alone be awake with the temptation
to forever slumber. "So, it has come to my attention, that you're comming for me next.
I made the appropriate distractions to make you come out of hiding." Tristan, who no longer
exist in this realm, lay lifeless as his body gave no effort to withstand the heavy foot that
was on top of it.

"That's why I killed you, Tristan."

The jedi masters arrived, with a great number of knights and guards. They surrounded the
facility, giving no quarter for the fallen jedi to survive. One of the masters stepped out, "you
have done a crime that's out of reach of the law, nothing speaks for itself than death for you."
Mallec surveys the scene, one agaisnt thirty jedis and fifty guards, he closes his eyes, and
breaths deep. "Right, doesn't it say that it is unfair for all of you to take down just one guy?"
They took no heed, and charged at him, he was ready, ready to die. He has lived his life in
regret, it has to end, somehow...

It was, an unfortunate event I must say.

The customer wanted a dark ending, with a very dreadful death. Undecided
