Hi there!
I figured I could start posting here as I've been going to the firing range for a few months now.
For now I'm shooting .22lr, 9mm (few months) and .45 as of saturday! And I do enjoy it very much.
So far, as per laws in my country I do not own any firearms. But I will eventually =)
So far I've used rugers, CZ75 Shadow 1 and 2, a ruger 1911 in 9mm and a beretta px4 in .45.

I got a black powder revolver in November. Haven't used it for anything though, but it's something I've always wanted, a Colt Army 1860 replica,.44 cap and ball. I actually am considering making a blaster out of it...

That sounds fun, I hope you get a chance to shoot it. I'm interested in black powder, particularly those old Army and Navy replicas, but I don't know if there's anywhere nearby that I can shoot black powder. Meanwhile, I'm playing the waiting game. I went to my local range/store earlier and I'm buying a Colt Army Single Action (1873 Peacemaker) replica that fires 22LR. My background check is on hold, though. (their system was going incredibly slow) While I was there, I put 225 rounds through this beauty:  That's my Taurus G3. I bought it some months ago and this was my first time taking it to the range. I mostly fired Federal American Eagle FMJ range ammo, but they had some Hornady Critical Defense hollow points on sale. So, I bought three boxes of 25. I put one box through the gun, to make sure it would run the ammo, even though I've seen a lot of reviews that say the G3 runs a variety of ammo. In 225 rounds, I had zero malfunctions, it was a fun day at the range. In a little while, I'm going to clean the gun.  I also bought that Magula speed loader while I was there. Let me tell you, that thing is a game changer when it comes to loading pistol mags. |

Yeah, the one I was at earlier is an indoor range. I was going to ask if they allowed black powder, but the friggin' background check system was being extremely slow (even the employees were surprised) and I forgot. |
