So, this thread is inspired by the "Good @ it" and "If you could have one force power?" threads.  It's a little game that I play with some of my friends on occasion, and goes something like this.

First person posts a superpower, and a weakness to counter it.  The idea is to get powers/weaknesses that are really balanced, so people have a hard time saying whether they take it or leave it.  Here's how it looks:

"You have Telekinesis, and can use it in any way you wish.  Your weakness is that you are permanently paralyzed from the waist down."

And then the next person would post something like this:

"Take it!

Okay, you have the ability to build high-tech ships and equipment.  However, you cannot use any of it yourself."

So, if anyone's game, I'll start.

You have the Force.  However, if you ever use it in public, you will be hunted down and killed within two weeks.

You can build all sorts of high-tech stuff.  However, you can't keep or use any of it.

You can read people's minds and search deep into their pasts, but if you try and do it for more than a minute, your head will explode. You can, however, go back and read the person's mind again after a 5 minute waiting period

Leave it.  Heads exploding isn't fun.

You have enhanced physical abilities (strength, hearing, reflexes, etc.), but have to eat a LOT extra food to keep your metabolism up.  If you eat at a normal rate, your powers atrophy back to normal.

You have the ability to instantly teleport yourself to any location in the world by visualizing it in your head. However, only your body will make the travel, so any objects/clothes you have on will be left behind or be destroyed.

You can have xray vision, but if you do it more than 5 seconds, you will go blind.

Leave it. I'd end up wording something wrong eventually, and get royally screwed.

You can travel back in time, however if you stay for more than an hour, it becomes permanent(you can't go back to your own time).

You can breathe underwater.  However, you can ONLY breathe underwater.

You can turn invisible for 5 mins, but if you make any fast sudden movements like coughing or if some thing physically touches you like a rain drop then your are no longer invisible.

You have super speed, however it must remain active for AT LEAST 15 minutes before you stop or slow down.

You have the power of taste! anything you eat even if its absolute garbage will taste delicious, but you won't get any special nutritional bonuses only your taste buds are enhanced. Also it can only be used once per day.

Meh... Leave it.  It'd be useful if there's a bad cook in the family, but it would also prevent you from knowing instantly when something you just bit into is spoiled or harmful.

You can ignite yourself and have pyrokinesis.  However, if the temperature around you drops below 100*, you lose your power permanently.

Take it, that would be useful in Afghanistan.

You have complete control over lightning, however you can't use any electronics ever again because you'll fry them instantly.
