Bioware Co-founders Dr. Greg Zeschuk and Dr. Ray Muzyka are retiring from the gaming industry

I remember Baldur's Gate II. And KotOR. KotOR more than anything else got me really hooked on Star Wars. It's a sad day to see these two industrial giants go. Electronic Arts has done terrible things to Bioware's ability to unleash their true creativity, but these guys have championed a lot of amazing work.

Damn, sad to hear that. EA once again is destroying good companies... I'll never forgive it for wrecking Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

CD Projeckt RED, who made The Witcher games. They're pretty good. And Eidos, if they decide to continue the Deus Ex franchise.

KOTOR made me start writing creatively. Now it's my #1 activity. (Well, if you want to get technical, it was KOTOR 2 that made me start writing, which was made by Obsidian, but still.)

Jammo would not be Jammo without KOTOR.

Revan's story, and the story of the exile re-defined SW for me... Darth Traya is one of the most epic philosophers of the Force to date. With the poignant story of Revan, but also his mastery of the Force shaping countless individuals throuought our SW community. It's a crying shame KOTOR's creators ending that way. But, also why I love Drew Kaypshyn's SW books since he was a writer involved in those game's stories... IF Disney knew their stuff they would have avoided their route of re-writing whatever and throwing out the rest and instead given Revan a movie or 3 part movie series! Been saying it for years... makes sense if you play it out on film since he is lovable, has a HUGE cult following, and is soooo dynamic. His character development would kill 3 movies easy!!! Part 1: Revan- Origin/Mandalorian Wars, Part 2: The Return from Beyond the Rim-Revenge of Revan, Part 3: Revan's Redemption- Betrayal, return to the beginning, saving the galaxy again. Foolish not to have seen the obvious gains of pre established prequel plot vs hiring writers and directors who just confused people, made things up, and releasing movies out of order like Rogue One (which was enjoyable but oddly released in between trilogy movies). Dont even get me started on how big the Mass Effect Fan base was, and the rage people threw at Andromeda and ME3 not tying in right. Just saying, even a Revan Netflix series would be gold...

Dark Lords of the Sith have ruled collectively and individually for Millenia. One afraid to wield a power is ultimately unworthy of it. Ascendancy into the light has an apex, yet descent into the darkness is endless. The Dark Side can give or take anything, based on user strength. I claim the title of Darth Prodigal Dark Lord of the Sith as my own. Through pain, our Code, and right of combat it is mine; and so shall it be defended. Follow Darth Bane's wisdom. (Only Dark Side Points Preferred.)
