@ Scimitar, yes that looks like the color my blade is.  I am loving the obsidian sound!!! Anybody know if the Li-Ion batteries need to be depleted before charging them? Or can they safely be toped off? I have never used Li-Ion batteries before. |

@Wolfknight They don't need to be depleted. You can charge them anytime you want. That's one of the advantages of having Li-Ion batteries.

I agree that a random hilt w/ obsidian option would be so freaking awesome. I was really surprised by this saber. Its so stylish with all the curves and lack of angles. Such a beautiful hilt the Monarch is! |

It Arrived!!!! A day early and the raffle prize was at my door! Thanks FedEx and Emory and everyone for getting this awesome saber set up for us! Here it is:  A Neat looking staff if I ever saw one! Loving it!  They threw in heavy grade blades as well! Wow! That GB is a great color. I wasn't able to capture it, but it has FoC in Silver. It's like Christmas! 2, Count 'em! Two! Shock LE sabers witha vented coupler ala the recent Yari extensions! i will spare you the descriptions of my geek out right now.  Just gorgeous!   Love to Ultra and Deep!You guys rock the world. Look for these beauties this Friday in a TPLA Live debut! |

Ok I grabbed some pics of my newest saber. I'm not convinced it is straight up FO. I fully charged the batteries and it seems a lot darker now. What do you guys think? This was without a full charge:  With a full charge:  And a close up of the blade:  (pretty accurate) Regardless I love it. Just looks so good! THanks again Ultra! I love your products!!! |

The CE Monarch raffle prizes are Nickel Plated, but they do not have the same high finish shine as the retail versions of the Collector's Edition Monarch and Collector's Edition Prophecy.
