Tape will work if necessary, though I use Gorilla glue and it works just fine.  I haven't had a tip come off in some time (knock on wood).

They do?  I'm looking at stunt sabers right now and "Standard Setup" is available under both Aeon and Initiate LE v3.  (They do default to Li-Ion with BuckPuck, though--Standard Setup is the bottom option.)  It seems like the v3 would be a lot easier to grip and spin, too.
