I took my first sick day in eight years yesterday. I couldn't even get out of bed. Every part of my body was in pain, I was nauseas, had a splitting headache, and a fever. The Teledoc told my I have Influenza B. Now I'm on Tamaflu (which make me nauseous) and some anti-nausea meds (which make me drowsy).

Try breaking down in front of your CIO and your totally worthless supervisor in the CIO’s office. Didn’t happen today, but I can relate to this. NOT fun. So very glad I found an escape route from that place. |

Our 2nd theatre teacher this year quit today. The first lasted 8 weeks. This one lasted three weeks to the day. My wife (who was each of their mentors) feels like a failure (though the first one didn't listen to a thing she said and the 2nd one was totally unprepared to be a teacher - both were 1st-year teachers). We both put a lot of individual time into helping this last one. But, she just up and quit today.
