I apologize for keeping all of you waiting for so long to see this saber; I will update it with color pics later when I get a better camera. Here it is!! Custom Rattlesnake: Consular Green UltraEdge Blade O-Rings, Wrap and Covertec Wheel  When the box arrived I was ecstatic, not knowing what it could be made me more excited. After digging through the packaging peanuts I finally managed to pull it out, I was at a loss for words. It seemed rather familiar but I couldn't remember the name; after looking through ultrasaber's youtube I found it and almost passed out. IT'S A RATTLESNAKE!! I immediately rushed to my room and grabbed the rechargeables and installed them and clicked the button and was nearly blinded by the bright green blade (even in a decently-lit room). The legendary properties of the UltraEdge Blade holds true in every factor and I've become and instant fan. With the oggling done I had to test it out, the initial swings and twirls felt incredibley light and I'm able to perform certain tricks with mind-blowing ease. Not to mention the emitter and the grooves with the rings made this saber a dream to handle during battle as well!! I will keep this saber until the day I die and I shall also uphold my promise to Ultra!!! I've expressed everything I can about this saber to the best of my ability. |

very nice saber! I think the covertec knobs are just an awesome look to any saber, and yours is no exception! Good lookin saber!

I have to admit, I liked the looks of the rattlesnake when it came out, but was turned off by the price- since it came with sound as standard equipment. If the rattlesnake gets re-released, I would love to see a no-sound version as well.

@master iyce: he lost his SI when shipping it in for repairs. The sharp emitter tore the envelope apparently. Seeing his great dismay, Ultra replaced the SI with one of his personal collection, asking only that sabers never be shipped in envelopes again.

I think that the Rattle Snake was a great Idea for a low priced sound saber. It does make me wonder why the Redemption doesn't have a sound option though. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they both really close in width and length? I read that the Redemption has plenty of room for soundboards. Oh well. I love the saber. Very generous of Ultra.  |
