recharge prot with obsidian?

alright first forum post. just recently i purchased a standard issue saber with obsidian sound (loving it btw), but i'm already tired of having to take the batteries out to recharge them (yeah i'm pretty lazy). so here's my question, is it possible to wire a recharge port to the obsidian board, and if so how would i go about doing it? any advice would be greatly appreciated, and i'm sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere.
