Wasn't sure where to put this, so I guess it fits here.  ;)

My question is this. I've been on and off the forum a couple of times this morning, and about three times now I've gotten random pop-ups. Now, I understand this may well just be a problem with the blocker on my end, but this has never been a problem for me before here, and I thought it might be worth mentioning. I'm guessing these aren't supposed to be here. lol So... is anyone else getting these? Should they be here? Am I nuts? (always a possibility)

Anyhow, just wanted to bring this to th attention of the appropriate people in case it is a real issue. *shrug* If it's just me, I'll hit the computer with a hammer once or twice and that should solve it.  ;D

I'm not getting any popups and my popup blocker isn't sending me any warnings.  /shrug

*shrug* May very well be on my end. *hits computer with hammer* Hmmm.... seems to be working now... XD Probably some wierd thing either with IE or my network. Wouldn't be the first time.

IE? That's your problem right there Wingmate. IE is terrible at blocking things like pop-ups(I've gotten some unpleasant ones back when I used it), so my advice is to get a different browser. Might I suggest Safari or Google Chrome.

Yeah. I figure that's probably it. I'm a firefox guy myself, but this laptop never got FF installed. It was supposed to be a temporary computer till the boss could get a permanent one in here and hooked up. Well... he decided this worked well enough that he shouldn't spend more money on another comp. lol I'll probably throw firefox on it at lunch today.

I used to use Firefox, before I discovered Safari. It's a decent enough browser, as is Google Chrome, but Safari is my preferred browser.

Eh. Safari is too.... apple-ey? for me. XD And besides, neither it nor Chrome has a little Fox! lol
