i ordered my GB overlord with a green AV switch and i am worring if it will look good.can some 1 please show me a pick of a GB overlord with a green AV switch

No need for pics. I think you will fall in love with the saber and this set up anyway right when you see it. Guardian Blue blade with a green av switch seems interesting. Post pics when the saber comes in. =] I have a Guardian Blue Bellicose but with the non illuminated av switch.

     I see this thread is a few months old but it is asking the same question I have. Did you get your Overlord with the GB blade? Is it what you hoped it would be?
     I am interested in buying an Overlord with a green blade. I like the hilt profile and length. Even the covertec wheel is exactly where I would want it. I like everything about this saber, but in the back of my mind, this saber always looks Sithy to me. Maybe it is the pics on the website with the red blade, maybe it is the black finish, ...heck, maybe it is just the name. If Ultrasaber offered this saber finished in the reversed colors (sliver with black accents) I would be tripping over myself to get my credit card. There is a lot more silver on this blade than other "dark" sabers, which keeps me from writing it off as an option.
     Maybe I am overthinking this (correction: certainly overthinking this). But as someone who owns a light side Overlaord, are you happy with the way it came out?

I personally think greens look better on black hilts. CG on the overlord is actually something I want. I think blues look better on silver.  Sometimes making something that looks good be used for the dark side and something that looks bad(the Overlord) be used for the Jedi is a cool twist.

Well I couldn't find that combination but I did find this video review. In GB with  blue av switch. But one can close there eyes and imagine I green one? lol

The overlord looks good in any color.  8)
Heres a pic I found. Green give the overlord a more rogue spec ops/imperial spy feel, rather than jedi or sith.

i have had my overlord since xmas and it looks great. so i dont need ant pics

I want one of these more simpler high end sabers so bad. xp I wish I would've just gone with the original Shock like originally planned. Oh well. I still love my Bellicose. I think the Overlord will look good in Guardian Blue especially if you got nickle plated emitter/pommel.

Yes the NP emitter does look good but mine is BR.

Welcome to Ultra Sabers@Chicago aka The New Guy. xp Hope you like your CG Overlord if you go with one. The Overlord actually looks pretty nice in CG. Kinda makes me want one. Boss is always finding these wanting a new saber kind of pics. xp But I'm good with the ones I have for now until I get my custom Sith saber done.

I actually came up with a solution to my saber dilema. I ruled out the Overlord and have decide to make use of the MHS features to customize a saber to my exact desires. I ordered the saber and parts to swap out, and will post a review and pics (if I can, I am embarrassingly bad with computers) when it arrives. I have come to the conclusion if you can't find something you like from Ultra Sabers, you are not looking hard enough.

     The more I think about it, I think I own an apology to Big Boss. I thank you for the picture and I don't want you to think I was just wasting your time hunting for it. Your comment about the Overlord with a green blade looking "spec ops/ or Republic spy" like got me thinking about that saber in a whole new way. I no longer see it as Sith only. However, I ruled it out because of my intended use for this saber.
      I have a very nice, hand made Jedi outfit and this saber will spend most of its time hanging from the belt in hilt only form. The costume is mostly dark brown and I think a black finished saber would just disappear into the costume. No sense having a really cool saber that is not going to stand out. Overlord deserves better. I opted for a more silver tone saber for this outfit.
     I still like the Overlord with the green blade and think that one might be in my future. I just don't think it will work for my needs at this time.
     I just wanted to clarify. No disrespect to the Big Boss. Hopefully I will be able to return the favor and post some pics when I have everything complete.
