Hey guys,

Got my Graflex SE in last night & I absolutely love it.  I even brought it with me to work!...Until Security thought it looked like a pipe bomb.

Couple of things I forgot to mention in the video review.

I emailed Deep about getting Quick Disconnects installed on my saber, and he said it's possible, I just have to dismantle the saber before I can get to the LED.  $15 in requisition charges later, I had QDs on my Graflex!

Yes, I installed the Green Power Ranger's "Dragonzord Call" as my lockup sound on my Archon V2.  Someday, I want to build a custom lightsaber themed after the Green Power Ranger's weapon.

I'm trying to decide on my next MLS color that I can put in this saber, I was thinking either Pyrestone or Emerald Green (I like forum colors).  I figure either of those would look more cannon or at least match the AV switch a bit better.  Right now I've got Joker colors going on.  Suggestions on either color would be much appreciated.

I know I posted on the forums about a week ago asking for input between the Dark Shock & the Graflex.  In the end, I went with the Graflex and love it.  I've decided to try building my own saber using the Dark Shock's body and pommel, since I already have the emitter.  I know everyone was suggesting the Dark Shock, but in a couple of months, I'll end up having both, one that I'll have completely built myself.

Sweetness. BH really does look good on that hilt, I'm half tempted to get it myself. And I'm sure there's a Gary Seven joke in that cat pic. lol

I have to agree with Manroon Baneheart does look good on the graflex!.

Seeing the Graflex really makes me wish i would have known about ultrasaber before i bought my anakin force fx. The fx is pretty cool and all but i'd give the slight bit of accuracy for a switch that doesn't turn off by accident, don't forget the improved blade design.

I absolutely love this thing!  It's just great to see an atypical setup, and DVA with a green AV switch on this baby is just that.  The Joker colors really work, and I look forward to seeing your future Green Ranger hilt ;)

This is why I love this community.  Thank you all for the continued positive support.  You all continue to rebuff my concerns about the Complementary Color System I chose.  Thanks for the support!

I am giving you a point for the simple fact of the Dragonzord call on your saber...Dude that is EPIC!!  The Green Ranger was by far the best and most powerful ranger of them all :)

Thanks!  I'm trying to find a smith that will help me realize my dream of combining Power Rangers and Star Wars, but I haven't found one that will get back to me yet. I'm thinking about building it myself through TCSS but I'm not good on the electronics end.  I was thinking a Makashi style saber with a Green Crystal Chamber and my Dragon Coin on the bottom of the pommel. Any suggestions, feel free to PM me.

Well done review.  I like the comparison between Obsidian versions - that's a good thing to know.  I also like the combo of the DVA with BH - looks good on camera.

One thing I would change - add a touch more time on your video before dissolves - I found that you were dissolving on the end of your points, and I wondered what else you might have said.  Other than that, well done.

BH turned out to be a great choice for FoC with DVA!  Nice job!!

Quick disconnect on the Graflex, hmmm. I almost emailed US to get that before I ordered mine (which I just did today. My first US, yay!). But I'm not really willing to disassemble the saber to change colors. I'll have to wait until I can buy a consular to get my color changing fix :-). Nice review. Thanks!

This is the most coolest Graflex I've seen so far. (Color combo wise). Dark Violet Amethyst with Bane's Heart FOC just screams epic and the green av switch ets it off even more. Its like when Luke hands down his saber to Mara Jade and she'd rather have the blade set to violet instead of blue. That's what this is reminding me of. I know you're a guy but still. Just giving me that back story.

A little update on this lightsaber.  I keep changing the LED on this hilt; I ended up getting an Emerald Green with Fire Orange FoC - it looks  like the original color of the lightsaber Luke used in episode 4 while fighting the Training Droid.  However, I really like the DVA color on this hilt, so I keep going back and forth. I've gotten very good at disassembling the hilt.  Once I decide on a permanent color, I'll put the alternate in a Dark Shock I'm building myself. I've got all of the hilt, I just need to get the insides. I'm leaning towards putting the DVA in the Shock, as that would look sweet. Still, the Graflex is the most beautiful saber Ultrasabers currently offers, in my opinion at least.

@Neo. I told my mom about your color combos by the way and she thinks they are weird but in a good way. Lol. I thought this was a cool idea. I will be sending my Bellicose back in for in hilt re-charge and silver FOC upgrade. It'll be the fast 2.1 charge with kill key.

I really want a Graflex. I love it in that color!

@Sky. For your gift to your girlfriend, you could get a Graflex and her a Shock LE. I forget what colors you guys were wanting though. haven't read your post in awhile. xp

Hi, I have tried to find out the process of changing the led in the graphlex and was told it can't be done,?
I have it in br,sfoc atm ,but I would like the option of changing it at a later date
Any tips for this process?

A BR with silver FOC? Why change it? Lol. That's a cool Sithy color combo especially for a Graflex. xp Not really sure though to answer your question.

^ Note that the Graflex design is also for Vader's Saber.

I thought Vader's was constructed from an MPP?

@Neo. I'm also a photographer at heart. I'm going to college for it. Getting my certificate and such. Can't wait til its all over with though. You should compare that original Graflex with the Ultra Sabers Graflex if you can. Like side by side and such. Its pretty cool that he has an original Graflex. I don't know how I missed this review. Lol. Oh well. I don't think I was on much during the week of your post.

Don't get me wrong I love the colour of my graflex,it's the if I want factor,disassembly of the graflex for the module access is nearly impossible
