I originally ordered in in Fire Orange but it turned Yellow for some reason, the I ordered a MLS unit which turned out perfect.
Love having a Yellow by accident though!

I thought Fire Orange would look better than just red because it's almost torched shaped to start with!

In the LED can you see if there are multiple diodes? The FO will have only 1, where the SY should have 3 (Made from an RGB).

I cant tell. They are all FOC modules.

MLS units? or they have FoC equipped? you can unscrew the module and take the lens off and look at the LED to see ho many diodes are there.

There are 4 on each, all of my MLS are 4.

Anyone know how better to tell?

if there is a planetarium or science museum nearby they usually sell eclipse glasses, which are like those red/blue 3D glasses only with a sort of silver film for the lens, and they work well for blocking the light.. most colors, there was one that still looked really bright, but I don't remember which one that was. You could probably find them online somewhere. You could then look at the lit LED and see if you have multiple diodes lit for your fire orange which would mean it was a mixed color and not the traditional fire orange color. a black plastic trash bag might work too come to think of it...

Okay, revived this thread a little.  I have been looking through the forum at pics of colors & video of colors.  I have known that I want a Raven, but thought it best to have it in Blazing Red.  But, the Raven here in FO looks REALLY GOOD!  I must give points for the pics as it looks awesome.

I tend to be a person that likes the "not normal" path & the FO is certainly growing on me.  I like the SY too, I may just get a SY MLS for my Manticore since I have the quick release option.

Looks awesome. I like the Raven with the Malice round pommel. I like the 2 colors too. I think the saber looks best in Fire Orange though. But that's just me. Lol.

Thanks, I noticed that after I posted.  I like them both actually, but the PO being on the bottom is what caught my eye & has me thinking.  I may just buy some of the modules since I do have QD on my Manticore.  Nothing wrong with having a few extra LED modules.  Then I will have to buy a few more hilts.
