Well I was really indecisive about what sabre to go for next (I'd already bought the only one that I knew I wanted massively, all the others seemed equally nice in their own ways, and I wanted to customise whatever I got), so I got a grab bag, knowing that whatever I ended up with would be pretty cool. I was really lucky and got a liberator! This sabre looks really nice straight out of the box, and has plenty of smooth aluminium that makes it a great base for customising. 

Hilt:  9/10
The liberator looks really really great in person, it's so sleek and narrow, and the 2 rows of accent holes really shine when it's lit up.
The hilt is really light , and the narrow section in the centre makes for a perfect place to grip the saber one handed.

 The only downside really to this hilt is the way the blade sits so noticeably off centre in the holder, but I'm sure it's straight forward to rectify, just need to jam something in there to stop it going squiffy.

Colour: Fire Orange, 10/10  well the name says it all really! The colour this throws off really does look like a bunsen burner on a smoky flame! It's such an intense orange, and works surprisingly well as a lightsabre  blade. I adore the colour! It's not quite as bright as guardian blue, but that could just be down to the way that blue is a harsher colour to stare at anyway.

Handling: 10/10 I ordered this with a 32" heavy grade blade, having read about how much difference it makes in the handling - and it does! I find it so much easier to spin and manoeuvre this sabre than I have done with the war glaive. This is probably due to me being a bit of a weedy female person, I do spend most of my time in labs/in my room attempting to study unfortunately! But I've got to say the lighter blade makes the liberator much more pleasant for me to handle - even with the balance so far forward from the hilt.

I've got a Liberator in Arctic Blue, and I love the feel of the Liberator hilt.

The pics are good. Would you maybe be able to get some in a dark/semi dark room so that we can get a better look at the true color and the glow it gives off?

I'll try - but at the moment the sun is shining straight through the windows - sunset (and I've got the worst curtains in the world due to student accommodation...)

I'll give it a couple of hours and have a go later this evening.

It's a decal - I'm far too much of a coward to do anything properly permanent to them!

The colour's a little better, but it's all blurry :s meh... I suspect it's me rather than the camera, but with all of the photos I'm sure you get the general idea!
