Saber Forum

After finding this site and forum both me and my girlfriend are counting down the days until we have enough money to buy a few sabers! I've already made my mind up on which I want but alas my poor girlfriend can't choose (kid in a candystore syndrome!!) and she's decided on a grab bag. Basically what we want to know is what you guys got in your grab bags and were you happy with what you got??

I got a liberator when I got a grab bag - brilliant! Couldn't see any of the minor defects that the site warns about either, so in all Grab bags are great when you can't make up your mind!

I also got a Liberator from my grab bag order. Mine was Arctic Blue.

I got a nemesis-ish saber in consular green. Technically it wasn't a "Grab bag" saber, it came with my shock when they were doing their saber giveaway, but it came from the same pile.

@ShadowKatt -  Nemesis?? I've not seen that before. If you have pics could you please post so I can have a look?

Not the best pics, but you get the idea. Mine has a bit of damage on it. The large white stripe in it came as is, the rest, well, guilty as charged.

I got a Standard Issue in Violet Amethyst. It's a beauty of a saber. The blemishes were minimal and hardly noticeable, though I have to admit I added a few more myself...

I have that same exact saber! exept no marks in it

I got a standard issue, and I specified Guardian Blue. There were some very slight minor scratches, but they were so light I had to spend ten or fifteen minutes going over the thing repeatedly to find them, and you know what? I wound up adding grips that covered them anyways! XD

Anyhow, it was a great saber and though I prefer my Prophecy, I still pick it up and duel with it. It's sturdy, solid, and trusty, just like any ultrasaber. And the length of the hilt really lends itself to alot of power in a two handed strike, but if you want to go one handed with it all you have to do is grip high and it will handle almost as well as the prophecy once you get used to it. :)

I got a grab bag for my girlfriend, she wanted a Violet Amethyst but didn't care what hilt style so I didn't specify metal or PVC.  She got one of the PVC sabers, the Archon.  It's pretty cool too!
