I have broken the black neck seal on my battle ready Vader sabre, dueling of course ;) you wouldn't have any of these spare by any chance? my son's sabre was purple but now lights up red after a few secs, now i'm aware there are colour disks in the handle how much of a can of worms is it to open up the hilt and see if i can't realign the color disks? get products keep em coming... As for your sons saber, try replacing the batteries.
