Title: help!
Post by: Tengen Toppa Angel X on May 18, 2011, 03:17:42 AM
i finally got my Dominix V2 LE in VA like 4 hours ago, and i wanna do a review, but when i try to do a picture/video with it activated, the blade comes out  blue/ whitish depending on the settings on the camera. I've used my actual camera, phone camera (which is actually pretty good), and my laptops webcam, and all 3 got the same effect. Please help. (and if helpful, Im using standard disposable triple A's, not nihm batteries)

I have noticed that cameras generally distort or accent the bade colors in certain ways. You may not be able to do anything about it in your pictures unless you use a bit of photo editing.

try messing with your lighting.  I've found that if there's some ambient light in the room, the camera will be able to focus more and your saber will turn out much better.

Try canseling the moving of the lens (witch controls the amount of light coming in the camera). Im sure it is an option, no idea how its called. Give "night-mode" allso a go :)

Good ideas from the last few posts there.  My thoughts are that everybody on this forum knows how cameras distort saber colors, so don't feel too torn up about posting pics that don't adequately represent the blade color.  Nobody (except maybe a newbie) is gonna go, "hey that saber looks blue not purple!" or something obnoxious like that lol

How do you even post images?
create an account/upload your pics to photobucket.com and under your picture in the album section it  will have an img code which is what you copy and past to the forum
