Post by: Oz Drift3r on January 05, 2011, 03:10:12 PM
If anyone out there has an MHS Pommel and some UltraSabers products..... (eg' Liberator :) ),

Could they please do some testing and let us know which of the UltraSabers sabers have MHS compatible Pommels... Below is a list of the ones i know of already.

List of compatible Sabers:

Oppressor
Prophecy
Catalyst
Bane
Arbiter

This list is based on reviews and product info from ultrasabers.com

Darn you..... thats depressing.

My goal here was for someone to say that the liberator was compatible so i didn't have to hollow out the pommel for a speaker :P

Cheers though... now we know.

Oppressor
Redemption
Prophecy
Catalyst
Arbiter
Bane
Shock

Non MHS compatible hilts:

Initiate
Liberator

one of each please. Don't have the cash i'm afraid. Are the parts from the hilts also interchangeable or only the pommels?

I too have a question about this. Now I know the Catalyst is made from MHS parts, is it possible to customize the whole unit with MHS parts or just the pommel and blade holder? I realize this would mean removing the electronics if you were to change the main body. But is it possible?

Thanks :)

Any saber that is completely MHS compatible can be fully interchanged with MHS parts, including the main body if you remove the electronics.  Those hilts include:

Catalyst
Arbiter
Shock

Would a Manticore or Clawed War Glaive emitter fit on an Aeon LE?

No, the Aeon's emitter is a part of the body.

Is it possible to attach a separate claw part to the emitter of an Aeon? Or an Initiate?

Yep, so long as you got a drill press to drill and tap the hole for the claw.

No, the Yaris are MHS (1.5") and the v2 hilts have the smaller 1.25" diameter. To my knowledge, there does not exist a coupler that would join the two together, and such a device would be an awesome thing to add to the Suggestions thread (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=831.0). (I believe it's already there as many have expressed a desire to join a v2 and a v3 together).

No, the Aeon's emitter is a part of the body.

Is this true of the v4 as well?

Yes the body to emitter is all one solid piece. Only the pommel is MHS compatible.

But in the options for the Initiate v4 you can chose to have different pommels. Wouldn't that mean the pommel at least is MHS compatible?

firehand already posted this before your question :) Yes, the pommels from the Aeon/Dominix v3 lineup onwards are all MHS compatible. Only the v2 hilts aren't.
