Title: Obsidian Sound on normal cells. Post by: Lord Ignasia on June 19, 2011, 09:20:08 AM Ahoy all, I have a Raven with normal power set up on the way, I was just wondering what kind of cells will run it best other than the Li-ions. Im not sure if I should use NiMHs or normal lithium batteries.
Thanks. Title: Re: Obsidian Sound on normal cells. Post by: Evesbane on June 19, 2011, 11:56:11 AM I prettty much had the same problem because the only batteries I could find with a recharger were the nihms. I think the general thoughts are rechargeable are better, but nihms problem are when they start to die out they taper instead of keeping a steady output of power like liions. Just my 2 cents.

Title: Re: Obsidian Sound on normal cells. Post by: ThreadJack on June 21, 2011, 02:49:05 AM I use Nimh's in my sabers, and I charge them every two weeks. I'm not a real frequent saber user though...

Okay, so just so I know (for one so I can order some more 3.7's) and I don't screw up my Obsidian Board once I get it: Putting Normal Batteries such as, Duracell, Energizer, into the Obsidian Board=REALLY STUPID, WILL DO NOTHING, BOARD WILL NOT WORK) Is This Correct?? Pay Attention Here Folks, I'm Taking A Bullet For The NON-TECH SAVY Folks Like Me ;) ) (Bao-Dur I Am Not) lmao Title: Re: Obsidian Sound on normal cells. Post by: Ultra on June 22, 2011, 10:59:36 AM No, that is not correct. The board will run on regular cells, but like all boards with a powerful audio amp, the consistent current of lithium-ion batteries will make the board work better.
