Hey man are you new to the forum? I would check in the other posts because we've talked about this about six or seven times in pretty good detail:)

Thanks for the thread that cleared it all up
The heavy grade still look fantastic and if there more durable then its kind of a win-win scenario
Thanks again:)

The other thing to consider is a recent post by Master Caine. http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=1555.msg18622#msg18622 (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=1555.msg18622#msg18622)

Myself and Novastar use thin walled blades, and we beat the living heck out of our sabers. Thick walled blades can take a great beating yes, but they tend to weigh the whole saber down. If you don't care about spinning much and your hands are larger, thick walled blades are certainly a good choice. For all other applications, Mid-Grade will work just fine.

Seems to me that for the majority of people buying the Heavy Grade blades, that its overkill compared to what they actually use them for, and that in many cases the Mid Grade blades would be more than sufficient.

I do duel a tremendous amount and I have split two blades and knocked off the tips of all 5 of my sabers countless times, and so im contemplating getting a heavy grade to see if i can save myself the hassle of having to fix then all the time.

YES!  Get the heavy grades BAMBAM3829!  They are more durable than you can possibly imagine.  I've only cracked one once, and that was in a duel against a concrete floor.  (slipped from my hand whislt wtirling, flew across room and landed right on the end of the tube.)  They've seen me through endless duels, and several karate classes without any major cracks.
