Title: Need help with deathstroke mask
Post by: Jacen_Katar on October 29, 2013, 01:46:20 AM
Hey saber forum. I'm in some seriously deep doo doo. I have six days before comi-con,  I have most go my deathstroke costume done except for the mask. I've seen people use iron man masks but I ran into some problems with filling in the spaces. Also I'm on a short budget. I'm not bracing it off of any particular version but I wanted to lean toward the one from "arkham origins". Any tips as to where I can get one or how I can make it will be GREATLY appreciated.

http://www.amazon.com/Army-Custom-Airsoft-Mask-Black/dp/B008BEFKMA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383143131&sr=8-1&keywords=deathstroke+mask (http://www.amazon.com/Army-Custom-Airsoft-Mask-Black/dp/B008BEFKMA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383143131&sr=8-1&keywords=deathstroke+mask)

then commence to painting... but you're going to hit a serious snag.  Time.  I know this one is like $98, but I just did a quick amazon search.

Short budget and 6 days before an event, costs and shipping are going to eat you alive to get them on time.

Are the Halloween Express or Spirit stores open around you?  You might find something there, or just keep hunting for Airsoft Masks (Some nice ones in the $30 range) and find one you can get shipped in a hurry...

Sorry I'm not more help.

Thanks, I'll probably use somthing like that for the next comicon. Because I have less tham two days and I don't think it'll get shipped by then.

I had a look on the RPF and it seems most people are sculpting and recasting and unless you have the tools thats going to be really tough. I did see a hockey mask version so if your in the us that could be easy to get and do? Or the standard sort of hood like in mortal combat vs dc universe would be the easiest but youd need to get hold of a pull over mask to modify for say a spider man outfit and dye it and modify the eyes.
