Title: The Long Project... Mandalorian Post by: Pyrateknight on October 30, 2013, 11:57:37 AM I will go ahead and say that this thread will be updated as I make progress but this will be a long slow process as I want to build the armor and I have only so much free time. But here is the start:
(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/28/5aby5ynu.jpg) I am acquiring an ear cap and an aluminum ear stalk. Right now I am thinking orange and grey and black as a color scheme. Title: Re: The Long Project... Mandalorian Post by: chicago.jedi on October 30, 2013, 02:34:50 PM Is that helmet painted? Or is that just the natural color of it?
Where did you get it? I have no desire to make a full Mandalorian outfit but having a helmet in my collection would be cool. I like the Star Wars trinkets that let you have some creativity (painting, customizing, etc.). That helmet you have there looks like a well made one. You are off to a good start there, can't wait to see the rest. Title: Re: The Long Project... Mandalorian Post by: Pyrateknight on October 30, 2013, 06:32:43 PM I really don't know who made it. This was Ebay. It was missing the ear cap and the RF stalk was not what I wanted so I will upgrade that. It is made of Sintra and that is grey primer.

Here is the sintra stalk that came with it next to the pieces of the new stalk. I plan on wiring some LEDs into it. Also the ear cap. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk Title: Re: The Long Project... Mandalorian Post by: Pyrateknight on December 01, 2013, 02:42:07 PM Alright so I have been breaking out my Arduino as I am thinking of a few fun internals that I might want besides the LEDs. I do have a set of RGB LEDs so that I can program the color in case I feel like changing color scheme later on.
