Title: My Halloween Costume (pics and text heavy) Post by: borgishmorg on October 31, 2013, 09:58:08 PM Howdy y'all, I just wanted to show everyone my Halloween costume, as I thought it turned out pretty decent for a last minute thing. I wore it to school today and 'everyone' liked it. About a million questions on my lightsaber (Aeon LE V3), and I had to explain it fully...
Anyways, my costume is a sort of mix between Ki-Adi-Mundi's outfit and one of Galen Marek's outfits. As they are shown here: (http://i41.tinypic.com/14jvm80.png) (http://i41.tinypic.com/314fgba.jpg) And here is what I came up with: It is comprised of two old hooded sweatshirts, some white cloth material (a lot, to make an inner tunic and the tabbard and a back hanging tassel-ish thing.), A brown belt, an Ultrasabers Aeon, some brown loafers with what I call 'Jedi Gators', brown pants (they were some sort of stretchy sweatpant type thing, but pretty thin), and some extra cloth from one of the sweatshirts to make my handwraps, a sunglasses case for a belt-pouch (I literally had my Ray-Bans in there during school), a really old cell phone in an old cell phone pouch to look like a Com-Link, and I had my D-ring clip on my belt as well but decided not to bring my other saber to school or on the outfit, and a brown t-shirt to wear under everything. (http://i43.tinypic.com/262l4k0.jpg) (http://i39.tinypic.com/2a854k2.jpg) Had these handwraps on both hands, but I had to hold my phone :P (http://i41.tinypic.com/2jdkys2.jpg) (http://i41.tinypic.com/2l6oup.jpg) (http://i40.tinypic.com/33z7ltt.jpg) (http://i41.tinypic.com/2ry3b5v.jpg) Happy sabering, and Halloween, and I'd love to see what everyone else did too! :) (Going to add some pictures with my saber tonight, when it gets dark) Title: Re: My Halloween Costume (pics and text heavy) Post by: Oramac on October 31, 2013, 11:16:38 PM Looks great!! Such an excellent use of regular clothes!!!! And, using everyday things for a comlink and a jedi case is so awesome! Title: Re: My Halloween Costume (pics and text heavy) Post by: Zren Tobas on November 01, 2013, 01:19:11 AM Nice.

You should throw up a tutorial on that, ppl would flip Thanks man! I just might attempt a tutorial on this, now that all of you seem to like it. Although, most of the items it seems I happened to find by pure luck, so it might be just sort of a guide-tutorial.Impressive, most impressive (And just aside, in my original post, I say tabbard in the description, when I meant to say tabbards plural, as there are two) |
